Comedian Professor Ham has finally broken his silence on why he left Hot 96, a radio station owned by Royal Media Services. In an interview with Jalang'o, Hamo revealed that the radio salary was not enough to sustain him.

According to Hamo, the salary would often get to 15th of the month, and he would start worrying about cash. He described himself as a hustler who had to rely on other means to make ends meet.

“I'm a hustler, I'm a hawker, radio and TV taught me to be a hustler. Let's go out there and hustle for our money,” said Hamo.

Despite his one-year stint in radio, Hamo realized that the salary was not enough to sustain him. He also shared his experience with online comments, which he said taught him not to read them.

“Never read comments, go watch Netflix or read philosophy. They have advisors, you have seventeen people advising you, and then you come home and fight. They don't fight with them, they fight with you,” Hamo added.

Now back together with his baby mama Jemutai, they are planning a joint show dubbed 'Raw and Candid' where they will address their past disputes.
