A military helicopter crashed and burst into flames at Ol Tepesi in Kajiado County on June 24, 2021.
The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) confirmed the incident through its official social media handles.
According to the KDF, the MI 17 1e Air Force helicopter crash-landed at the Ol Tepesi area, Ngong in Kajiado County, during a training mission.
Rescue missions were underway, with videos circulating online showing the helicopter bursting into flames shortly after crash-landing.
A huge fire and smoke could be seen from the scene.
