Kenya's Harambee Stars head coach Sébastien Migne has acknowledged the challenge his team faces in their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) match against Senegal's Lions of Teranga on July 1, 2019.
Speaking ahead of the crucial tie, Migne admitted that his team will find it difficult to get past Senegal, who are considered one of the top teams in Africa.
Senegal kicked off their campaign with a win against Tanzania before losing to Algeria in their second fixture, while Kenya suffered a 2-0 defeat to Algeria in their group opener before stunning Tanzania 3-2.
"It will be a game against the number one team in Africa and we have nothing to lose," Migne said in a statement.
Kenya's Michael Olunga is joint top scorer at the ongoing AFCON after his brace against Tanzania on June 27, 2019, in Cairo, Egypt.
Meanwhile, TUKO.co.ke reported that Olunga struck twice against Taifa Stars, bagging his opener with a magnificent overhead kick while his second and the ultimate winner was from a low shot that went in at near post.
