Comedian Ann Kansiime has shared a heartwarming post about her father, revealing how her close bond with him led to breakups in past relationships.
Published on June 23, 2021, Kansiime opened up about how her ex-boyfriends were threatened by her attachment to her dad, with some even calling off the relationship.
'I would like to think I'm not the only girl accused of loving their father more than their mom growing up,' she said.
She explained that she has always referred to her father as her 'boy lollipop' since she got her first phone 17 years ago, which led to some of her past relationships ending.
'I have always done that since I owned my first phone 17 years ago, something that cost me a few redundant relationships growing up with son's of women assuming I was cheating on them whenever my dad would give me his daily routine evening calls to check on me,' she said.
However, Kansiime is grateful to have found a partner in her husband, Tukahiirwa Abraham, who respects her bond with her father and never feels threatened.
The two have been together for almost four years and have welcomed their first child, Selassie Ataho.
'Fast forward, I finally landed myself a fine man with no pimple ba bladipit toleta Skylanta, and he is already an amazing father to our son,' she added.
