On June 24, 2021, the World Rally Championship (WRC) flag off is set to take place at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) from 8 am to 12 pm.

Nairobi Area Traffic Commander Joshua Omukata has announced that the ceremonial flag off will start at KICC at 12:45 pm.

According to Omukata, the vehicles will then pass through Parliament Road, Haile Selassie Avenue, Uhuru Highway, Wangari Mathai Road, and then head to Kasarani via Thika Road.

After the flag off, the Safari Rally vehicles will head back to Thika Super Highway and pass through before heading to Naivasha through Muthaiga.

Omukata notes that the flag off will cause disruptions on the roads, but assures that no roads will be closed.
