John Madanji, a popular Luo musician, is seeking justice after his wife was brutally murdered in Umoja, Nairobi. The incident occurred on an unknown date, while Madanji was in Kisumu.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio News, Madanji expressed shock and grief over the news of his wife's death. He had to take a flight from Kisumu to Nairobi to be with his family during this difficult time.
Madanji is unsure if the murder was a random robbery or a targeted attack due to his music career. He has no known enemies in the music industry, but the fact that his wife was targeted raises suspicions.
Emmaculate Akoth's friend, Elizabeth Otieno, witnessed the killing. She described the events leading up to the murder, saying that they had just closed their workplace and were heading home when they were surrounded by people.
One of the thugs shouted 'eachilieni,' and that's when Emmah was shot dead while Otieno was shot in the leg. Otieno rushed to the hospital but was asked to report the matter to the police first.
The thugs made off with 24,000 shillings. The police were informed, and Emmah was taken to Mama Lucy Hospital, where she later died.
