On November 7, 2020, former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe shared a doctored image on social media, captioning it 'Next' shortly after Joe Biden was declared the president.
The image, which has been circulating on social media for the better part of Tuesday, 22, has fooled some into believing that the two Americans have settled on Ruto to lead Kenyans from 2022.
However, a quick look at fact-checkers reveals that the image was taken on October 31, 2020, as the two urged Americans to vote.
Barack Obama tweeted, 'Don't boo — vote! Happy Halloween, everybody.'
The photo has also been photoshopped several times as different people have used it to communicate different messages ranging from birthday messages to anniversaries.
