June 23, 2021, was a day that left one woman stunned after her ex-boyfriend's baby's mother reached out to her, claiming their child was partially hers.
The woman, who had been cheated on by her ex-boyfriend for most of their relationship, had finally found the girl he cheated with and ended things with him.
However, things took a surprising turn when the woman's ex-boyfriend's new partner messaged her on Facebook, asking for help with baby expenses, claiming the child was 'partially mine' because they were both with him.
"So my ex-boyfriend cheated on me for the majority of our relationship but I could never prove it," the woman wrote on Reddit. "Finally one day I was able to find the girl and have a conversation with her, she felt horrible and told me she just found out she was pregnant."
She congratulated her and ended her relationship with him, and they began dating. However, the woman's ex-boyfriend's new partner soon found herself in a difficult situation, with no job and living with her parents.
"She's a single mom with no job and living with her parents now because and he was supporting all of them with his plant job," the woman explained.
When the woman refused to help with baby expenses, the ex-boyfriend's new partner told her she was being an 'ahole' and that the baby was 'partially mine'.
However, people on the internet were quick to reassure her that she hadn't acted badly by refusing to pay for nappies.
"That girl has lost her marbles by saying that baby is partially yours. It is not," one person commented.
"It's ridiculous that she is asking OP for help. The baby is not partially hers. She needs to hit up the father who is 100% his for help. You don't owe them any kind of help," wrote another.
