On Tuesday, Kenya's women's beach volleyball team made a strong impression in the FIVB Continental Cup and Olympic qualifiers, defeating Cape Verde 2-0 in the golden match. The match, which was held in Agadir, saw Kenya's pair of Gaudencia Makokha and Brackcides Agala emerge victorious against Cape Verde's pair of sisters Ludmila and Janice Varela.
The Kenyan team's success was a result of their well-coordinated gameplay, with Agala's back court prowess playing a crucial role in their victory. The Kenyan pair capitalized on Cape Verde's sluggish start, leading 8-3 and 16-10 before winning the set 21-13.
Although Cape Verde improved in the second set, they were unable to overcome Kenya's lead, ultimately losing 21-17.
