On June 22, 2021, a devastating building collapse occurred in Nairobi's Kamukunji business district, leaving residents in shock and raising concerns about the safety of structures in the area.
Photos from the scene showed various floors of the building piled up on each other, with details remaining scanty about what may have caused the collapse.
Police promptly reported to the scene, but unfortunately, no rescue teams had arrived at the building at the time of the incident.
