On Father's Day, a Facebook post sparked controversy when it claimed that a child was looking for his father, whose description matched Jalang'o's.

Speaking on Kiss 100, Jalang'o expressed his disappointment at the claims, stating that he did not have any personal relation with the child and did not know his parents.

He slammed the person who shared the photo, calling the joke distasteful because it had the potential to ruin his marriage and that of the baby's parents.

Thankfully, Jalang'o's wife understood that he had not sired the boy, and he thanked God for that.

Co-host Kamene Goro empathized with the child's parents, putting herself in the father's shoes and imagining the potential strain on the family.

She also added that the child did not deserve to have his photo shared on social media, and that it would be extremely insensitive to do so.

Interestingly, Jalang'o revealed in 2020 that he no longer posts his children on social media, citing concerns for their privacy and the potential for people to treat them differently.
