NTV's Zainab Ismail and her husband, Ahmed Faizal, a business reporter at Citizen TV, are expecting their first child together. The news was shared by Zainab on her social media pages, accompanied by a photo capturing her bulging tummy.
"How do you describe something that's meant to be felt and cannot possibly be limited with explanations and definitions? It's just simply beautiful," reads Zainab Ismail's post.
On April 11, 2020, Zainab and Ahmed Faizal tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by family members, colleagues in the media industry, and close friends.
Before joining NTV in June 2018, Zainab worked at Ebru TV for two years. In a farewell message to her Ebru TV colleagues, she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to present news to them and thanked her team for their support.
"It's a wrap...To the next journey InshaAllah," added Zainab.
Zainab Ismail is a graduate of the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) and became popular after participating in KTN's "The Presenter" competition season two.
During her undergraduate diploma, Zainab was attached at Iqra FM, where she was recognized as one of the best in news presenting and reporting. She also received great recognition for her informative investigative pieces.
On the other hand, Ahmed Faizal is a business reporter at Royal Media Services, owned station Citizen TV.
On April 11, 2020, after their wedding, Faizal wrote, "Exactly one pandemic year ago you added another title to my life plus being my best friend. Happy anniversary @zainabismailofficial ❤️❤️. One down 99 + eternity to go 。。"
