Published on June 30, 2019, Harambee Stars could welcome back the return of defensive duo Joash Onyango and Philemon Otieno ahead of their last AFCON Group C tie against Senegal.
Onyango missed the team's two openers against Algeria and Tanzania with an injury, while Otieno sat out against the East African nation with an ankle problem.
However, the pair has now resumed training and could be in line for a starting role against the Lions of Teranga.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) media liaison Barry Otieno revealed that the two players are now in contention to feature in the decisive encounter.
"They have both resumed training and are being monitored closely. I don’t think we have any other injury concerns apart from the two, whom I have a strong believe they will be involved," he said.
"It is a match you need all your players possible and both Otieno and Onyango are already looking fit," he added.
The team will be seeking to cart away all the three points against Senegal to book a slot in the next round of the competition.
