On June 20, 2021, a deadly encounter unfolded in Mombasa's Likoni area, where police shot and killed two suspected criminals.
According to eyewitness accounts, the two suspects were armed with machetes, and another individual managed to escape the scene.
Police investigations suggest that the suspects had relocated to Likoni from Kisauni following a crackdown.
