Published on June 30, 2019, a report by Infotrak shed light on the sentiments of Kenyans regarding the country's direction. According to the report, a staggering 48 percent of the population is uncertain about the country's trajectory.

Those who think Kenya is headed in the wrong direction cited high cost of living, rampant corruption, unemployment, poor governance, bad politics, and poverty as major concerns. In contrast, 34 percent of respondents believe the country is on the right track, citing peace, good infrastructure, government efforts to combat corruption, and improved education as reasons for their optimism.

Interestingly, the report also highlighted the popularity of various political parties in the country. Jubilee emerged as the most popular party in central Kenya, with a 61 percent popularity rank, while Orange Democratic Movement trailed behind with a 21 percent countrywide popularity rank.

Infotrak's report provides valuable insights into the sentiments of Kenyans, highlighting areas of concern and optimism. The findings underscore the need for effective governance and policies that address the country's pressing issues.
