Makueni Deputy Majority Leader Harrison Ngui Dies in Car Crash

On June 15, 2021, at approximately 6:30 pm, Makueni County Deputy Leader of Majority Harrison Ngui lost his life in a tragic car accident along the busy Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.

According to Makueni County police commander Joseph Napeiyan, the accident occurred at Salama area in Makueni County when Ngui's grey Toyota Prado Landcruiser collided with a truck.

Police investigations revealed that the driver of the trailer was driving at a high speed and had overtaken several vehicles before the accident took place.

As reported by K24 Digital, the incident was documented at Salama Police Station, with the driver of the trailer being held accountable for the fatal accident.
