Makueni Member of the County Assembly Harris Ngui Musau MCA for Nguu-Masumba Ward died in a road accident on the Mombasa-Nairobi highway on June 15, 2021.
He was driving his white Prado when it collided with an oncoming Sharkman truck headed in the direction of Mombasa, killing him instantly.
The accident occurred in the Salama area along the busy highway at around 7 pm.
According to Mukaa Sub-county Police Commander Jacinta Mwarania, the deceased was accompanied by an unknown female passenger who sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Machakos Level Five Hospital.
Unfortunately, the woman in her 20's also died while receiving treatment.
The bodies have been moved to Machakos Level Five Hospital mortuary, and the vehicles have been towed to Salama Police Station yard as police launch investigations into the cause of the accident.
