RwandAir, the flag carrier of Rwanda, has taken a precautionary measure to suspend flights to and from Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. This decision was made in response to a significant increase in COVID-19 cases in the country.

According to the airline, the suspension of flights took effect on June 10, 2021, and will remain in place until further notice. Passengers who have been affected by the suspension can either rebook their flights for a later date at no additional cost or request a refund.

It's worth noting that this is not the first time RwandAir has taken such a measure. In February 2021, the airline temporarily suspended flights to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia due to the emergence of new COVID-19 variants in those countries.
