RwandAir, the flag carrier of Rwanda, has taken a precautionary measure to suspend flights to and from Entebbe International Airport in Uganda.
The suspension, which took effect on June 10, 2021, is a response to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Uganda.
Passengers affected by the suspension have the option to rebook their flights at a later date without incurring additional costs or request a refund.
This is not the first time RwandAir has taken such a measure. In February 2021, the airline temporarily suspended flights to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia due to the emergence of new COVID-19 variants in those countries.
