Published on June 12, 2021, a survey by Knight Frank Wealth Report identified Tigoni in Kiambu and Miotoni in Karen as the new preferred locations for Kenya's elite home buyers.
The reasons behind this shift include a desire for privacy, expansive outdoor space, and competitive lower prices.
According to the report, the former posh estates are being shunned due to congestion, with home buyers seeking more secluded and spacious areas.
"Despite the turmoil, new opportunities are emerging as the way we live, work, exercise and interact is changing," the report stated.
