Published on June 12, 2021, a tragic incident unfolded in Mikindani, Mombasa County, where a 17-year-old boy took the life of his stepfather.

The motive behind the heinous crime was a long-standing dispute between the boy's mother and his stepfather, which had been ongoing for some time.

According to reports, the boy, a student at Kajembe High School, retrieved two kitchen knives from their home and used them to stab his stepfather multiple times in the stomach, chest, and face.

The victim was rushed to the Mikindani Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The police were notified by the boy's mother, and efforts are underway to trace the suspect.

The body of the deceased was taken to the Coast General Hospital for further examination.
