Tragic Love Story: Rugby Player Dies a Day After Marrying His Soulmate ¶
Navar Herbert, a 22-year-old rugby player, has left behind a heart-wrenching story of love and loss after passing away just a day after marrying his partner, Maia Falwasser.
According to reports, Herbert was diagnosed with a cancerous sarcoma tumour nine months ago and his condition rapidly deteriorated with no chance of survival.
Despite his illness, Herbert and his partner were determined to get married, and they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony just hours before his passing.
During the ceremony, Herbert held his wife's hand and told her how much he loved her, bringing tears to the eyes of their guests.
Herbert's groomsmen helped him to get dressed before bringing him down the aisle in a wheelchair, where he was met by his tearful wife.
Their son Kyrie, who was born just a few months ago, also featured in the video of the ceremony, but unfortunately, his father won't be around to celebrate his first birthday on July 2, 2019.
Following the ceremony, friends performed an emotional haka for the newlyweds, which left Herbert emotional and tearful.
Maia Falwasser, Herbert's wife, took to social media to express her grief, saying, "Today my heart is heavy and sad, I lost my best friend, Husband and the Father to our Son." She also thanked their friends and family for their support, saying, "I feel absolutely showered in love by friends and family, this is a hard time, however i do find my strength and refuge in everybody's support."
