On June 22, 2019, Vincent Andaje Ndungah, a primary school teacher, was arrested in Kitengela, Kajiado County, after being on the run since 2017. He was wanted for the murder of his step brother, Sammy Anekeah, which occurred on September 6, 2017, at their home in Isulu Village, Kakamega Central.
