Comedian and content creator Njugush, whose real name is Timothy Kimani, has revealed plans to retire early from the entertainment industry.

Speaking in an interview, Njugush, who rose to fame through his act on the popular TV show Househelps of Kawangware, expressed his desire to leave the spotlight by the time he turns 40.

"Later in life, I am looking forward to exiting the stage," he said. "I want to assure my future and my children. My ideal 40s would be spent somewhere deep in a ranch milking cows because at the end of the day, why do we live?"

Njugush, who has been named Africa Digital Influencer of the Year in the 2020 Africa Digital Awards and among the top 100 most influential Young Africans in 2020, currently enjoys a huge following online.

With over 1.8 million followers on Instagram, 1.1 million on Facebook, and 400,000 subscribers on his YouTube channels, Njugush has established himself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.

However, he has expressed a desire to step back from the public eye and focus on his personal life, which includes his family and a more peaceful existence.

With 10 years to go before he reaches his retirement age, Njugush has time to secure his future and that of his loved ones.
