BeautyClick Expands Reach with Exclusive Partnership in East Africa

On May 20, 2021, BeautyClick announced an exclusive distribution partnership with Italian cosmetic brand NOUBA, aiming to establish the brand in Kenya and the East Africa region.

BeautyClick CEO, Queenta Ndanu, emphasized the importance of makeup in enhancing a woman's beauty and femininity, stating, “For the contemporary woman, makeup highlights her beauty and femininity. The use of lipstick has come a long way in becoming a fundamental part of a woman’s dressing.”

NOUBA, a historical Italian makeup brand with a presence in over 40 countries, offers a wide range of makeup products, including the popular Millebaci lipsticks and Noubamat foundations. Through the partnership, BeautyClick will introduce NOUBA's full product line to the East African market and collaborate with NOUBA to develop new products tailored to the region's consumers.

The exclusive agreement makes BeautyClick the sole distributor of NOUBA in the East African region, further solidifying BeautyClick's position as a leading beauty destination for authentic and original products from local and international brands.

Roberto Petrucci, CEO of NOUBA By Matisse S.R.L., expressed excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are extremely excited to deepen our relationship with a platform as coveted as BeautyClick. This exclusive partnership signifies a major steppingstone for us as a successful Italian brand in bringing to our Kenyan and East African consumers innovative makeup products.”

BeautyClick has revolutionized the hair and beauty industry in Kenya since its inception, becoming the first exclusively online beauty marketplace in the country. The company has partnered with over 25 local and international beauty brands, providing direct and indirect employment to approximately 20 Kenyans.
