On May 19, 2021, a controversy surrounding comedian Professor Hamo's paternity of two children with his baby mama Jemutai came to light.
According to reports, Jemutai had shared the results of a DNA test on social media, which confirmed that Professor Hamo was indeed the biological father of the two children.
Following the revelation, Professor Hamo took to Instagram to issue a public apology to Jemutai and their children.
"Life has a way of forcefully instilling wisdom into someone," he wrote in a lengthy apology post. "A lot happened, so much was said, both positive and negative in the same breath. If an apology is to be made then it should be soul searched, true, and from deep down."
Professor Hamo also expressed gratitude to his friends and mentors, including Mr. Daniel Ndambuki 'Churchill' and Life coach Robert Burale, for their support during this challenging time.
He further promised to be a responsible father to his children and to work towards healing and rebuilding their relationship.
Professor Hamo's apology post has been met with a mix of reactions from the public, with some praising his willingness to take responsibility for his actions and others expressing skepticism about his intentions.
