May 18, 2021 - Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has taken to social media to express his outrage after being left out of Forbes' list of the top 20 richest artists in Africa.

According to estimates, Diamond Platnumz has a net worth of Ksh 751 Million, making him one of the richest artists in the region. However, he believes his net worth is significantly higher, considering his various business ventures, including Wasafi TV and Wasafi radio station, as well as his numerous endorsement deals.

As a Rolls Royce owner, Diamond Platnumz's net worth is undoubtedly substantial. His exclusion from the Forbes list has left many of his fans wondering why he was left out.

In a scathing tweet, Diamond Platnumz addressed the issue, saying, 'FORBES: next time google me to know what am really worth of, before putting me on your Stupid Richest African Musicians List!!!'

Kenya's Akothee was the only East African artist to feature on the Forbes list, with an estimated net worth of Ksh 1 Billion.

It remains to be seen whether Diamond Platnumz will be included in this year's list.
