On May 17, 2021, a social media drama unfolded between Saumu Mbuvi and Aeedah Bambi, with the latter seemingly taking aim at her former friend's new marriage to Lamu senator Anwar Loitiptip.
After Saumu Mbuvi posted cryptic messages on her Instagram account, including the quote, "Memories remind us that nothing lasts forever, you can be happy today and sad tomorrow, time is precious and should not be wasted, enjoy life and remember don’t count your days, make your days count," she took subliminal shots at someone without mentioning names.
Her post read, "Some are busy chasing fame, others money living life with no purpose and direction. Soon as you realise your time is up it will be too late for you. So choose wisely hii dunia tunapita tuu (this world is not our home),"
However, Saumu has since deleted all the posts on her Instagram account, leaving fans wondering about the context behind her cryptic messages.
Aeedah Bambi, on the other hand, posted a cryptic message which read, "The fact that you don’t like someone does not mean they will suffer or not succeed! God id not from your village."
