Prince Abura, a 21-year-old Riara University student, has tragically passed away in his sleep. The young man had been battling sickle cell anaemia, a condition he was born with.

According to an M-changa fundraiser account set up by his mother, Achieng Abura, Prince died peacefully in his sleep. The fundraiser, which was initially started to help Prince seek treatment in London, had been a testament to the love and support of his family and friends.

‘Today I announce with a humble heart the passing on to glory of Prince Abura in his sleep. I just want to thank all who supported this worthy cause. He was to graduate from Riara University in September. May God remember you in your time of need. More updates soon as we close this fundraiserChair.’ - Achieng Abura

Prince's mother, Achieng Abura, had passed away on October 20, 2016, while receiving treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital. Despite her untimely death, her legacy lives on through her son's story, which serves as a reminder of the importance of supporting those in need.
