Published on May 11, 2021, a remarkable family in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been making headlines with their unique tradition of naming all their children with the letter 'C'.

Patty Hernandez, a 39-year-old mother of 15, has just given birth to her 16th child, Clayton, continuing the family tradition that started with their 38-year-old father Carlos.

The family's unusual naming convention began as a tribute to Carlos, and Patty has stuck to it for all 16 of her children. The names include Carlos Jr, 13, Carla and Caitlyn, 10, twins Calvin and Catherine, six, and twins Caleb and Caroline, three, as well as Christopher, 11, Cristian, nine, Celeste, eight, Cristina, seven, Carol, four, Camilla, two, Charlotte, one, and twins Crystal and Clayton.

Despite the challenges of raising a large family, Patty feels blessed by God and is open to having more children. In fact, she says, 'If God wants us to have another child, we will have another one.'

Clayton weighed 8lbs and 4 ounces at birth and was delivered on May 5, 2021, after a 40-week pregnancy, which was Patty's longest yet. The family's cleaning business helps them pay their bills, and they hope their eldest son will soon be able to contribute to the family firm.

As for the family's food expenses, Patty revealed that they spend around £650 every fortnight on groceries for their children, but they do not receive any government support.
