Published on May 10, 2021, a controversy has erupted in Tanzania after two Bongo artists, Harmorapa and Emba Botion, claimed fatherhood to the newborn child of socialite Amber Lulu.
Amber Lulu, who has been open about her personal life, had previously named Emba Botion as the father of her child, Arianna.
However, Harmorapa has come forward, stating that Amber named Emba Botion as the father simply because he refused to take responsibility for the child.
‘You shouldn’t rejoice at the expense of others... There’s nothing more painful than seeing your blood being given to someone else because you refused to take care of the pregnancy,’ Harmorapa said in a statement.
Harmorapa further alleged that he was forced to deny fathering the child during an interview with Wasafi’s Presenter Dua, after being threatened and intimidated.
‘They threatened me, they intimidated me, they took over Sh5.8 million from my wallet and put it in another wallet... I was forced to deny it because they said if I didn’t speak by the end of the day, something bad would happen to me,’ Harmorapa said upon his release from the police station.
