Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been married to Primrose for over 20 years, a union that has stood the test of time.
However, in a recent Instagram post, Sonko made a surprising request to Kenyans: if they ever see his wife with another man, they should not alert him.
He made this plea alongside a picture of himself with a finger on his lips, appealing to his followers to keep the information to themselves.
"If you see my wife with another man please don't tell me just mind your own business!" he wrote on Instagram.
It's worth noting that Sonko has previously advised couples on how to maintain a long-lasting relationship, including not drinking too much alcohol and not using sex-enhancing drugs.
Kenyan social media users had a mixed reaction to Sonko's request, with some questioning which wife he was referring to and others defending his wife's loyalty.
