On May 10, 2021, the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results for 2020 were released, with Simiyu Robinson Wanjala from Murang'a High School emerging as the top candidate.
Wanjala scored an impressive 87.334 points, leaving other top performers in his wake.
When asked about his achievement, Wanjala expressed surprise, saying, "I am surprised to hear that I am the top candidate in KCSE," in an interview with Citizen TV.
Coming in second nationwide was Allan Odoma from Agoro Sare High School, who managed an A of 87.173 points.
