Comedian Njugush and his wife Celestine Ndinda have been blessed with a 3-year-old son named Tugi, just three years after their marriage. The couple has now opened up on why they decided to create a YouTube channel for their young son.
Young Tugi's Big Win ¶
At just 3 years old, Tugi has already gained a massive following on YouTube, with over 122,000 subscribers and over 3 million views. His channel, managed by his mom Celestine, received a YouTube silver award in December last year, a recognition given to channels that reach 100,000 subscribers.
On Instagram, Njugush shared the news of his son's achievement, saying, 'Wapendwa! Another one!! The day couldn’t get any better!!!!! Blessed tugi on YouTube!!!!! Thanks sana wadau!!!!! 100 000 subscribers Cc @celestinendinda.'
In an interview with Massawe on Radio Jambo, the couple explained that they created the channel to give Tugi exposure to various things and to have a platform for him to try out different things when he grows up. Njugush said, 'This is a smart move by both of us. By the time he grows up, he will definitely have a platform to showcase his talent.'
Celestine added, 'By the time we were opening the YouTube channel for Tugi, he was already speaking and creating content like his dad. I would be very proud when I grow up and my daddy has created a way for me.'
The couple's decision to create a YouTube channel for their young son has been met with praise, with many seeing it as a smart move to give Tugi a head start in the entertainment industry.
