Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2020 results are finally out, following a meeting between Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha and President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House on Monday, May 10, 2021.

According to Magoha, students can access their results by sending an SMS message to [20076] with their candidate's index number followed by KCSE (in capital letters). There should be no spacing after the index number's last number and the initials KCSE.

The service is available for all three network providers in the country: Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom. The cost of each SMS is Ksh 25.

Due to the high demand for the results, the platform may experience delays, and patience is required. To check KCSE results online, candidates can visit the Kenya National Examinations Council portal and follow the instructions.

The results are provisional, and candidates are required to pick them up from their respective examination centres. The marking of the examination was concluded on Friday, May 7, and took an estimated three-week period.

Over 700,000 candidates sat for the examination beginning March 2021, making it one of the most challenging papers in the Ministry of Education's history.
