On May 10, 2021, music producer Tedd Josiah took to social media to express his gratitude to all mothers, particularly those who have lost their loved ones. In a heartfelt post, he shared his own experience of becoming a single father to his 3-month-old daughter Jay Jay after his wife Reginah passed away.
Tedd Josiah's Journey as a Single Father ¶
With his wife's passing, Tedd Josiah found himself in a challenging situation, having to raise their infant daughter on his own. Despite the difficulties, he has been dedicated to providing love and care to Jay Jay, and his post is a testament to the sacrifices he has made as a single father.
"Every mother wants to be there for their children until their children are very very grown, no mother wants to leave their child as an infant cause they know the child won’t get motherly love," Tedd Josiah wrote in his post. "To all those whose moms are in heaven, to those whose babies are in heaven, those who are still trying to be moms, those who are having a tough relationship with their moms, those who are praying to be moms, and those who are moms….. I value you cause i have walked a mile in ur shoes and though my life plan had never been to become a Mother to a 3 month old, i had no option but to become the mother. The journey of motherhood isn’t easy but the little hugs are the rewards."
As Tedd Josiah celebrates Mother's Day, he also remembers his late wife Reginah, expressing his gratitude for the love and support she provided to their family.
