As the sports betting industry continues to grow, BangBet Kenya has turned to affiliate marketing to drive its platform forward. The company has launched a series of training programs to onboard affiliates, who will play a key role in reaching sports lovers who wish to wager on team performances.

According to Statista's research, revenue from affiliate marketing programs has experienced a 10% growth annually since 2015, with projections indicating this trend will continue until at least 2022. BangBet Kenya's Marketing Director, Mr. Kelvin Maundu, emphasized the importance of these training programs, stating, “We are providing our affiliates with a perfect opportunity to earn an extra coin or two especially during these tough times when people have lost jobs. These training clinics are aimed at bringing them up to speed with all the products the company has and also share on ideas they can use to reach more potential clients.”

With the global affiliate marketing industry valued at over $12 billion in 2018, Africa is not being left behind. In Kenya, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to economic challenges, prompting individuals to seek new ways to earn extra income. The betting industry's shift to the online space has created opportunities for affiliate marketing to thrive.

BangBet's Partner Program rewards its partners with a commission for each customer onboarded, offering a one-off fee of up to Ksh. 20 per user and a lifetime commission of 15% on revenue generated from each invited user.
