Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto's daughter June Ruto has recently gotten engaged to her Nigerian boyfriend, Dr Alexander Ezenagu, on May 10, 2021.
Dr Ezenagu is an Assistant Professor of Taxation and Commercial Law at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) in Qatar. His areas of specialization include investment law advisory and practice, trade law, international tax law, commercial law advisory and practice, and developmental governance.
Dr Ezenagu holds a Ph.D. in international tax law from McGill University in Canada and an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. He also holds an LL.B. degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Dr Ezenagu has published in various academic journals and has been quoted in reputable media outlets such as the Financial Times and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists' Paradise Papers.
