Artist Michael Bundi: Overcoming Adversity to Create Reflective Music

Michael Bundi's story is one of resilience and determination. Born into a family with a musical background, he was expected to follow in his father's footsteps as a singer and music teacher. However, society's lack of understanding and support for his passion for music led to a troubled childhood, marked by frequent school changes and depression.

Despite these challenges, Michael found solace in music and went on to build his own studio, where he could express himself freely. He has since released a string of hits, including a reggae cover of Otile Brown's 'Baby Love,' which garnered an astonishing 1.7 million views.

However, Michael's success was short-lived, as he faced issues with original artists monetizing his covers and issuing copy strikes. This led him to team up with progressive management to focus on his own compositions.

His latest release, 'Favour,' is a poetic and emotion-provoking song that showcases Michael's growth and maturity as an artist. In his own words, 'Favour' is '...like a prayer to me...,' and it is. Its deep, reflective lyrics tag at the strings of your heart.

With over 500 releases to his name, Michael Bundi is a versatile artist who has made a name for himself in the Reggae scene. You can sample his music on YouTube or visit his website for more information.
