On May 9, 2021, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton made history by winning the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix for a record-equalling fifth year in a row for Mercedes.
Hamilton's 98th career victory, achieved from his 100th pole position, marked his third win in four races and propelled him 14 points clear of Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who secured second place after claiming the fastest lap.
Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas completed the podium in third place.
