Chelsea's Thomas Tuchel is set to embark on his first transfer window as Blues boss, and the German's first priority may be to strengthen his squad with some key signings.

One player who could be on his radar is Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, who has been linked with a move to England in recent months.

According to Bild, Chelsea are ready to battle with Liverpool for Sancho's signature, with the Blues believed to be interested in the 21-year-old's services.

Sancho, who grew up in London, has been a target for several top European clubs, including Manchester United, who have long retained an interest in the forward.

However, Dortmund have reportedly lowered Sancho's valuation from £100m to a more manageable figure, which could make him more attractive to potential suitors.

Meanwhile, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has emerged on Roma's transfer radar, with the Italian club's new boss Jose Mourinho reportedly keen to sign the Spanish stopper.

However, Chelsea are unlikely to recoup much on their investment in Kepa, who has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge despite arriving for a world record fee in 2018.

Finally, West Ham manager David Moyes has admitted that his club would not be able to afford Tammy Abraham if Chelsea were to demand anything like £40m for the striker's services.
