Published on May 9, 2021, Kenya Sevens team Shujaa started the second day of the Rugby Africa Solidarity Sevens tournament on a high note after thrashing Stellenbosch Academy of Sport 26-0 in a one-sided match played at Markötter Stadium in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

The match saw Jeffrey Oluoch, Alvin Otieno, Derrick Keyoga, and Vincent Onyala score tries for Kenya, with Oluoch landing the first try to lead 7-0 at the breather.

Shujaa took a 12-0 lead after Collins Injera offloaded to Alvin Otieno, who dummy-dropped his way to score at the left corner of the whitewash line.

Later, Derrick Keyoga pounced on his own kick to ground the ball, extending the lead to 19-0 after conversion.

Kenya sealed the victory with a last-minute try by KCB's Vincent Onyala after the hooter.

Shujaa will face Uganda next in the East Africa Derby at 12:50 pm East African Time.
