Kenyan Friends Embark on Epic Road Trip to South Africa in 2010 ¶
Four friends, Kiarie, Shem, McCrutch, and Jomo, embarked on an epic road trip to South Africa in 2010, a journey that would test their Toyota Wish and their resolve.
Starting from Embakasi, the friends crossed into Tanzania at Namanga, then into Zambia at the Tunduma border, and finally into South Africa, where they watched a World Cup match in the Greenpoint Stadium in Cape Town.
However, their journey was not without its challenges. In Zambia, they were involved in a speeding incident that damaged their wheel, and they had to repair the vehicle's wheels before continuing on their journey.
Despite the setbacks, the friends persevered and were able to view the sights, including Victoria Falls on River Zambezi, and even managed to get the car fixed and serviced after covering the kilometres in a matter of days.
"We picked up the car after it was fixed with new rims and tires. They even gave us a bottle of complimentary wine," the Kenyans exclaimed.
After watching the match, they started on the journey back home to Kenya, following the once-in-a-lifetime trip.
