As the Swahili saying goes, 'kubeba mimba sio kazi, kazi ni kubwa' - carrying a pregnancy is not a task, it's a big job. And for Lady Mandy, wife to Sauti Sol's Fancy Fingers, this saying rings true.

It's been eight months since Lady Mandy welcomed her adorable baby boy, and while she's loving every moment of motherhood, she's also been open about the struggles she's faced.
Speaking to her followers, Lady Mandy shared her honest reflections on motherhood, highlighting the challenges she's faced and the lessons she's learned.
"Eight months that feel like eight hundred years, I've been in my feels the whole damn day," she wrote. "Here are my mummy reflection and 2 cents on my journey so far... feel free to add ON in the comment section. It may help a mummy babe."
One of the biggest struggles Lady Mandy has faced is the fatigue that comes with caring for a newborn. "Apart from the fatigue, there are a few more struggles I've had to put up with," she said. "But hey, it's motherhood, and like it or not, it never gets easier."
Through her social media, Lady Mandy has been sharing her experiences and offering advice to other new mothers. "The difference between baby IN and baby OUT is like day and night. No one or thing really prepares you," she wrote.
She also emphasized the importance of breastfeeding, saying, "Breastfeeding is natural but not automatic."
And in a candid post, Lady Mandy shared her thoughts on parenthood, saying, "Parenthood is a 'Magigal Ghettaux' - it kicks your ass more times than you would like to admit and fills your heart with love more than your little heart can seem to handle."
She also shared some valuable lessons she's learned along the way, including the importance of trust, vulnerability, and self-care.
"The most overworked and in high demand muscle is TRUST," she wrote. "Get comfortable with vulnerability. It feels like you are in a strange body before and after baby too. Don't know when this ends. Burnout is real, be always on the look out. Mummy time is KING."
By sharing her honest reflections on motherhood, Lady Mandy is offering a valuable resource to other new mothers who may be facing similar challenges.
