Millicent chepngetich Rotich, a fourth-year medical student at Chuka KMTC, was last seen at a nearby shopping center purchasing foodstuff.
Her friends, Jane karimi and George Nyamu, reported her missing at the Chuka police post, sparking an investigation into her disappearance.
Tragically, her lifeless and chopped-up body was found in a sack near her apartment, just 500 meters from the university's main gate.
Officers from the Chuka police post also discovered her limbs dumped in a nearby bush, leaving the motive for her murder unclear.
