Comedians Professor Hamo and Jemutai have put their paternity dispute behind them after a meeting facilitated by Churchill, a fellow comedian.

According to Jemutai, the decision to conduct DNA tests was made after meeting Churchill on May 4. The DNA tests were conducted at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) at a cost of between Ksh20,000 and Ksh30,000.

Churchill had intervened in the dispute after Jemutai alleged that Hamo had deserted his family. However, Hamo refuted the allegations, stating that his wife usually sent upkeep money to Jemutai.

"I have children who live with me and others who don't live with me. I have been providing for my children from day one and there's no day they went without food or shelter or anything they need," Hamo said.

However, Jemutai alleged that Hamo only offered Ksh9,000 and rarely visited his two children. She stated that she was willing to sell her Facebook account at Ksh1.7 million to raise funds.
