Media personality Rashid Abdalla has been remembering his late father on the 25th anniversary of his death. The Citizen TV news anchor shared a photo of his father, who passed away on May 5, 1996.
In a touching post, Rashid expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support from his fans, who have been praying for him since last year when he asked for their prayers as it's not easy dealing with the death of a parent, no matter how long it takes.
‘#sisemikitu Babangu siku kama ya leo tulikuzika… daima ntakukumbuka… pengo lako halitazibika. Mungu azidi kukuepusha na adhabu ya kaburi. Mola akusamehe dhambi zako za siri na dhahiri uwe miongoni mwa watakao kabidhiwa kitabu chao kwa mkono wa kulia. Amin. Endelea kupumzika kwa amani MR Abdalla.’
According to Rashid, it was not easy for them after his loss but had to accept God’s will. He rarely shares photos of his dad, but is always sharing photos of his mother now and then.
