Reverend Lucy Natasha has offered words of encouragement to comedian Professor Hamo, who has been at the center of a controversy involving Churchill show comedian Jemutai.
On May 4, 2021, Reverend Natasha took to Facebook to bless Hamo and pray for favor and grace upon him, despite the comedian's recent exposure as a deadbeat dad.
"Follow God's continued favor and grace upon you Professor Hamo, you are a gift to our generation and we celebrate how you lighten up our lives with comedy, laughter, talk shows and keep on shining," Reverend Natasha wrote.
However, the controversy surrounding Hamo's parenting began when Jemutai exposed him for not seeing or providing for their two children, with Hamo later refuting the claims by stating that his wife sends upkeep money to Jemutai.
"My wife sends upkeep for the children who don’t live with us. This has been the agreement between my family and the mother of the children," Hamo said in a statement.
Churchill show's host Daniel Ndambuki later intervened in the matter, revealing that he had spoken to both parties and asked them to settle the issue privately.
"We have had a long cordial talk with Hamo & Jemutai and agreed to deal with the matter privately and find an amicable solution..in the end the kids have to win. Have a blessed Sunday," Ndambuki said.
