On August 25, 2020, Vivo Smartphone Kenya announced its partnership with online retailer Jumia to exclusively unveil the Vivo Y30 in Kenya.
The device, which was earlier expected to retail at KES. 20,000, will be available for KES. 16,999, a deal that includes 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
According to Mr. Arthur Xian, Vivo Kenya CEO, the partnership with Jumia aims to bring customers a wide range of choices at affordable prices.
‘‘The partnership with JUMIA today cements our commitment to bring our customers a wide range of choices that will see they enjoy the best and premium mobile phones at the most affordable prices. We are aiming to offer more options for smartphones with high-quality standard and comprehensive functionality through JUMIA to fulfil the increasing demand of Kenyan consumers’’ said Mr. Arthur Xian.
The Vivo Y30 features a 6.47-inch HD+ LCD Ultra O Screen, 5000 mAh battery, with Vivo’s own funtouchOS 10 skin over Android 10.
The device will be available in two colours – Emerald Black and Moonstone White – and can be purchased from Vivo’s official Jumia Store.
