193 Test Positive as Covid-19 Caseload Hits 32,557

On August 24, 2020, Kenya's Ministry of Health reported 193 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 32,557.

According to Health CAS Rashid Aman, 3,381 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of samples tested to 425,364.

Of the 193 new cases, 137 were male and 56 were female. The youngest case was a 2-month-old infant, while the oldest was 87 years old.

On a positive note, 225 patients were discharged from hospital, bringing the total recoveries to 18,895. Sadly, 6 patients succumbed to the virus.
